Engineering A Quality of Life

Marilu Salinas, Engineer-in-Training
With over 3 years of experience covering various aspects of civil engineering design and construction, Miss Salinas is an Associate Engineer for Tri City Engineering.

She began her practice prior to graduating college by interning with Quad Knopf during the summer of 2005 and 2006 and December of 2006. While there she started as a Business Services Intern and rose to be a CAD Technician Intern. As a CAD technician she assisted in grading, drainage, and improvement plans for subdivisions, commercial, and multi-family developments as well as performing calculations as needed and revising redline plans as requested.

In 2008 after graduating with her Civil Engineering Degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Miss Salinas joined the Tri City Engineering team. As an associate engineer Miss Salinas works on street and roadway design, grading and drainage design, storm water storage design, sewer and water systems, SWPPP preparation, dust and erosion control plans, improvement plans, cost estimating, and contact coordinator during project construction.
